So much more than speakers, BeoLab are acoustic works of art.
Since 1925, Bang & Olufsen has been synonymous with the art of acoustic perfection and, to this day, their craftsmen still calibrate and tune every loudspeaker model by hand.
If you've never played your favourite music through a Bang & Olufsen sound system then we imagine you'll find it hard to imagine what you're missing. We suggest it's like listening to these tracks for the very first time, where you rediscover your classics and reveal the hidden delights and subtle melodies you never knew existed.
What makes Bang & Olufsen speakers so different? The answer, in one word, is innovation.
The B&O Acoustic Lenses spread the high frequencies horizontally around the room so that they cover more listening area while reducing reflections from the floor or ceiling - just walk around a room and the sound performance remains perfectly unchanged.
Adaptive Bass Linearisation delivers great bass from even the smallest Bang & Olufsen speakers by harnessing surplus capacity in the amplifier and driver unit. B&O extend a speaker’s bass output far beyond what it would normally produce and automatically adjust it for excessive peaks.
The first Bang & Olufsen speakers with built-in ICEpower were unveiled in 1999. Back then, the goal was to save energy but what that they actually achieved was unheard of in amplifier technology. Because ICEpower doesn't require the same cooling space as conventional active speakers, the power produced is far beyond its physical size.
Hearing is believing. To find out more about the Bang & Olufsen BeoLab range of speakers and sound systems, visit the Bernard Dickinson showrooms in Fulwood and we'd be delighted to arrange a demonstration.
